Financial planners face increasing pressure to conduct thorough investment due diligence while communicating complex risks clearly to clients. This course introduces financial professionals to practical, compliant uses of artificial intelligence (AI) that enhance—not replace—professional judgment.

Participants will learn how AI tools can accelerate the review of financial disclosures, identify investment risks, summarize valuation drivers, and support clearer client communication. Emphasis is placed on fiduciary responsibility, behavioral awareness, and compliance safeguards to ensure AI is used responsibly within an advisory practice.

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  1. Identify at least three ways AI tools can support investment due diligence and security analysis
  2. Analyze investment risks more efficiently by using AI-assisted extraction of risk disclosures, valuation data, and qualitative management commentary.
  3. Apply an AI-supported workflow to improve communication of portfolio rationale to clients.
