
Ashley Latourelle
Chief Compliance Officer
Ashley Latourelle is chief compliance officer for 15 Equity, responsible for the ongoing oversight and development of the firm’s compliance program. Ashley is also an Associate Director at Compliance Risk Concepts (CRC). She is a seasoned compliance professional with over 20 years of experience with a strong knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Most recently, she served as an AVP in Legal and Compliance at The Blackstone Group, where she supported the Real Estate Investor Relations team. In that role, she advised on compliance matters related to investor suitability, global marketing registration, marketing material reviews, and investor communications. She also reviewed due diligence responses and other fundraising and reporting materials across multiple investment strategies from a legal and regulatory standpoint. In addition, Ashley developed compliance training materials, contributed to regulatory risk assessments through industry research, and handled legal and compliance inquiries from existing investors.
Previously, as a Compliance Officer at UBS Asset Management Ashley built and maintained the compliance program for the firm’s Mutual Fund Sub-advisory platform. She implemented a risk-based framework for manager due diligence and provided regulatory guidance across the platform. She also customized the firm’s compliance training program to address key areas such as conflicts of interest, personal trading, outside business activities, political contributions, gifts and entertainment, the code of ethics, privacy, data protection, information barriers, and AML/sanctions. Prior to UBS, Ashley spent nearly a decade at Fred Alger Management, Inc., also as a Compliance Officer. There, she was responsible for risk assessments, forensic testing, and preparing the annual compliance report. Her work included regulatory guidance for both the advisory and broker-dealer businesses, trade and communications surveillance, marketing review, investment guideline monitoring, policy development, best execution oversight, and reporting to the mutual fund board of directors.
Ashley earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
